1. Intro
the first living organism breathed for the first time billions of years ago, it needed food. Food is something without which growth, development, and evolution would have been impossible. Every living thing on the face of the earth needs food.
Food is something without which growth, development, and evolution would have been impossible. Every living thing on the face of the earth needs food.
The fact that we all need food to survive is not a secret but everyone still doesn’t understand why it is so important. It’s because it’s so important that every single species has its own eating habits and eating patterns.
We have different eating habits because we are different species. We are very similar in body composition to other animals around us except for one part: our brain structures and how it works from an evolutionary standpoint.
It has been suggested that our body structures evolved to help us cope with a dangerous world where there were many predators at any given time in history. Our bodies had evolved to be able to defend themselves against these predators by producing hormones that tell our brain when those predators (or their offspring) are present. These hormones were also used to regulate our body temperature by regulating heat production through sweating or coolant production through breathing. When our bodies evolved as a result of this long history of needing food, they began producing hormones that tell our brain when there is not enough food available, thus alerting us to eat more as soon as possible.
Today we still require these same natural hormones in humans but we have also introduced artificial chemicals into them so that they cause us to eat more when there is not enough food available and less if there is enough food available. We now have an artificial hormone called leptin that tells our brain when there is enough food available but we no longer need those natural hormones because they no longer control how much we eat and thus we don't need them anymore either. The problem with this type of hormone injection into a human being's brain can be very dangerous because if you don't eat for some time you will go hungry even though you do not feel hungry or you will continue eating even though you are hungry and your brain will continue thinking that you are enjoying your meal even though your stomach has shrunk from hunger. This can lead to many problems including mental illness or even death.
This all happens because most modern humans do not eat as much as they did millions of years ago; they simply live a sedentary lifestyle today while their ancestors
2. Food is a basic necessity
There are two ways to look at food. One way is to view it as a “necessity” and the other is to look at food as a “pleasure.”
The great thing about food and eating is that it gives your body the fuel it needs for life. The problem with food and eating, however, are that they are often viewed as “pleasures” or “non-essential” rather than being considered as something that fulfills a biological need.
The question of whether or not you need food in order to live can be open to debate. However, there is no debate on the fact that we would not exist without food, even if we don’t require it for survival on a cellular level.
Food is not only a necessity but also an expression of our culture and identity as human beings. It also plays an important role in our psychological balance (as well as various emotions). It is quite possible that one could go through life without ever having eaten any good or bad-smelling things. However, over time, most people will have developed an appreciation for the myriad experiences provided by different foods and how these experiences impact them emotionally (i.e.- whether or not they provide comfort).
3. The importance of food in the human body
You cannot deny the importance of food in the human body. It is one of the most important parts of every living creature, no matter if it’s a mammal, bird, or fish. The reason for this is due to the fact that food is what gives us energy, sustenance and sustains our bodies. Without food, we would not be able to survive on this planet effectively.
And on top of that, we wouldn’t be able to continue building civilizations either.
In order to properly digest food, we need enzymes in our system from plants and bacteria in our intestines. But if you are a vegan like me you would appreciate why these vital parts are so important for us:
We need a proper balance between omega 6 and omega 3 fatty acids, which means that plant-based foods have an excess of omega 6 fatty acids (which are not very good for health) while animal-based foods have an excess of omega 3 fatty acids (which have proven health benefits). This imbalance can lead to certain diseases such as heart disease and high blood pressure which is a deadly epidemic at this time.
We also need certain vitamins and minerals that plants provide us with like vitamin K (which helps blood clotting), zinc (which helps build strong bones), vitamin B12 which is essential for healthy nerve tissue, and vitamin D (which aids in muscle growth). In short: Plants are good for us!
4. People have always valued food
Every living thing on the face of the earth, from fish to humans, from trees to leaves, from even plants and the microbes that live within them, have all evolved in order to find food. And many of those evolutionarily successful organisms are our ancestors.
So why is food so important? Food is a necessity for life. It must be available for every single living thing in order for evolution to occur. It’s also a stress reliever. Eating right helps us feel good about ourselves and our bodies. We don’t need as much sugar or carbs as we once did but what is there now can easily be replaced with products containing natural sugars or starches (like potatoes, oats, etc) that maintain our body’s ideal balance of minerals and vitamins.
5. Conclusion
The relationship between food and health is instinctive and deeply ingrained. The chemical composition of food is known to play a role in the human body’s ability to fight disease and revitalize the body.
Research has shown that the discovery of specific nutrients, such as vitamins, will influence the growth of plants and animals, thus increasing their productivity for humans.
What is also interesting about this connection is that it is not only healthy but also sustains life. Food also helps you in your daily activities by giving you energy, as well as supplying you with quality protein from which your brain can function properly.
